Qui si rimira ne l'arte ch'addorna
cotanto affetto, e discernesi 'l bene
per che 'l mondo di sù quel di giù torna
For here we contemplate the art adorned
by such great love, and we discern the good
through which the world above forms that below
The kingdom of God shapes this world
as the moon pulls ocean tides
Am I sailing with or against the pull?
